MISSION:
BAG is a 100% volunteer run organization. Our mission is to bridge the gap between school days by bringing together the Federal Way community to provide nourishment, basic necessities, and hope for our students who need it most.
HOW IT WORKS:
1) Schools identify students most in need
2) Volunteers pack bags with nutritious, kid-friendly food
3) Volunteers deliver food bags to the schools every Friday
4) Food bags are distributed to students for the weekend or holiday breaks
HOW MUCH IT COSTS
$5,000 provides weekend meals for 15 students at one school an entire school year. Each food bag costs approximately $8.
